Pray the Word
Lord, above everything else I could desire for my children, I want them to love You. Draw their hearts toward You. May their faith be more than something they inherit from me—let them know You personally, love You sincerely, and choose to follow You for themselves.
Make it personal:
What are you most tempted to want for your child besides a close relationship with God? Surrender that desire and ask God to make love for Him the deepest desire of their heart.
